Hello, my name is Emma and I'm the salon owner and groomer here at Dapper Dog's. I have been grooming for over 6 years on all kinds of dogs including breeds and temperament. My first introduction to grooming was during my level 3 diploma in Animal care at Derby College, I instantly fell in love and proceeded to get a job in a busy salon for a few years, I then took the leap to start my own business and the rest is history!!
I've had my amazing little business for 2 and a half years and I'm just about to return back to work after having my little boy in august 2022. Here at Dapper Dog's we offer a kind, caring and quiet 1:1 service, in which all of my time is devoted to your dog during their session.

Deshedding

Fed up of finding those stray hairs all over your house? Our Deshedding service gives your pet maximum care and slows down the rate of which hair sheds meaning less cleaning up to do!! Handstripping
Putting Your Pet First
Hand stripping is definitely one of my favourite grooming techniques, it's perfect for those wire-coated breeds as well as spaniels, setters etc. This grooming process requires more time to a normal session as it's done by hand so a lot slower than using scissors and clippers. I will always recommend hand stripping for the suited breed as it keeps the dogs coat in the best condition.

Puppy Grooms

We offer puppy grooming from as young as 12 weeks old when your little one has completed all their vaccinations. This includes: bath/blowdry, nail trimming, ear cleaning, hygiene trim, face trim and paw trim, bandana and a cute picture in our Photo Booth. Plenty of care, patience and time is given with our puppy grooms to ease them into the very important grooming process and ensure they are comfortable and happy during their pamper session.
Facials
The Best for Your Pet
Why not treat your pampered pooch to one of our blueberry or banana facials? They will smell soooo yummy!! These facials are also great for deep cleansing and conditioning and brighten your dog's beautiful little face🥰

Treat your dog to our spa package here at dapper dogs! This package is an additional £8 onto the price of your pooches groom and includes the following:💙 Blueberry facial: deep cleansing and whitening treatment💚 Teeth cleaning gel: a natural tasty treatment that helps reduce plaque and tartar. 🤍Conditioning treatment: for that extra gloss and shine and a tangle free coat. 💜 nose and paw balm💛 shine spray for that extra glow.

First time we have used Dapper Dog's Grooming Salon, and I am impressed. It’s in a really safe and rustic setting, the meet and greet was very professional where we discussed how we wanted Faith and Albert to look. For the first time ever both dogs were happy to go with Emma when we left to go home. When we retuned later we were met by two very happy dogs who looked and smelt wonderful. When we got them home Faith and Albert fell asleep for 3 hours after clearly enjoying their time at Dapper Dog's Grooming Salon. Will be returning very soon. Thank you Emma.
